The terms on which we accept and fulfil orders.
Romana Custom Works ("we", "us") is a custom print studio operating from 2200 Kettner Blvd, Unit 210, San Diego, CA 92101. Contact us at hello@romanacustomworks.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send the order confirmation email. We may decline an order — for example if artwork breaches section 5, if stock has run out, or if a price was listed in error. If we decline, we refund you in full.
You keep all rights in the artwork you upload. By uploading it you confirm that:
We will not use your artwork in our own marketing without asking you first. If a third party claims your artwork infringes their rights, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with that claim.
We decline artwork that is unlawful, that incites violence or hatred against a group, that sexualises minors, or that we reasonably believe infringes someone else's rights. We also decline counterfeit branding. This is a judgement call and ours is final — we refund in full when we decline.
We email a digital proof before printing. Nothing goes to press until you approve it. Approving the proof confirms the artwork, spelling, placement, colours and sizes are what you want. Errors visible in an approved proof are not covered by the reprint promise.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and exclude carrier delays outside our control. Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check the parcel within 30 days. Full detail in shipping & returns.
Custom‑printed goods are made to your specification and are exempt from change‑of‑mind returns. Faulty items and items that do not match your approved proof are reprinted or refunded — see shipping & returns, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is capped at the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profit or the cost of an event going ahead without the shirts.
If a deadline is critical, tell us before ordering so we can confirm in writing whether we can meet it.
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account being used to place fraudulent orders.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and we keep dated copies. Material changes are announced on this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of San Diego County have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring proceedings in their local courts where the law requires it.
